Professional Experience
Subodh is pursuing the profession of Chartered Accountancy since 1989. He has an extensive experience and expertise in the field of Corporate Laws, Tax Laws, Auditing and Accountancy. As an accountancy expert he has been advising the clients on implementation of prescribed financial reporting framework based on statutory requirements under various statues. He has kept his finger on the economy pulse and his foresight has immensely helped our clients be ready for changes in economic laws. He has been representing the industries to Government agencies. As an expert of corporate & allied laws he has advised corporate clients from the point of planning, inception, compliance to mergers and acquisitions. He as a wide experience in statutory audit under the Companies Act, 1956/ 2013, specialised exposure under ERP environment, tax audit under the Income tax Act, 1961, C & A G audit of government organisations/ companies, statutory audit of branches of nationalised banks, concurrent audit of nationalised bank branches and government corporations, central statutory audit of co-operative bank having deposits worth multi crores, taxation matters, company law matters, internal audits, management value added services, corporate consultancy, taxation counselling & consultancy. He has expertise and wide exposure in the field of ERP Audits, System Audits, System Assurance Audits, Security Audits, Control Review and EDP Counselling. He has been advising corporate clients in framing and designing Internal Control, Internal Check and MIS systems.
Academics
Subodh is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He passed the final examination at first attempt in one sitting before completion of his articleship training and was placed in the list of merit (rank) on all India basis and second in the state of Gujarat. He was also awarded best paper award & prize in "System Analysis & Data Processing". He passed the intermediate examination at first attempt in one sitting and was placed in the list of merit (rank) on all India basis and first in the state of Gujarat.
He is qualified and trained in the areas of computers and Information Systems Audit. He is a Qualified System Auditor - DISA from ICAI. He passed the assessment test for the same at first attempt, completed professional training on INFORMATION SYSTEM AUDIT conducted on behalf of ICAI by SSI Limited. He is also a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) by (ISACA), USA. He is a holder of Computerised Accounting and Auditing Techniques (CAAT) Training Certificate having completed 100 Hours of CAAT Course Practical Training from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
He has been Certified by the ICAI for successfully completing the Certificate Course on Concurrent Audits of Banks. He has been Certified by the ICAI for successfully attending a programme on Finnacle Auditors for Banks organised by ICAI jointly with Infosys Technologies Ltd., Bangalore.
He has been qualified at the National Standard Test for Programming Competence in "Ansi Cobol", Conducted by The Computer Society of India. He is a certificate holder from Gujarat University in the field of "Computer Programming" in the subjects of Basic and Cobol Programming and System Analysis.
He is an Associate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He passed the final and intermediate examinations at first attempt in one sitting.
He has passed the intermediate examinations of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India at first attempt in one sitting. He is also a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Gujarat University. He pursued Bachelor of Commerce from the prestigious H. L. College of Commerce, Ahmedabad. He passed all the exams at B.Com. in first class. At the final B. Com. examination he passed with distinction and was awarded "National MERIT Scholarship Certificate". At the second B.Com. examination he stood first in the college with more than 80% marks and secured highest marks (100 out of 100) in the paper of "Taxation".
During his schooling he secured distinction marks at Higher Secondary Examination and was awarded "National MERIT Scholarship Certificate" and secured first class marks at School Secondary Examination and secured highest marks (100 out of 100) in the paper of "Commercial Arithmetics". He has been attending regularly the Continuing Professional Education Programs/ Seminars/ Workshops/ Meetings organised by the ICAI, various study circles and various study groups.
